SALEM - The school board approved five goals for the 2009 school year on Monday. Superintendent Lou Ramunno made the recommendation on the items which had been studied in workshops since mid-January. The goals include having students in grades three to 12 increase the number of state indicators to be met, performance index scores, value-added growth, and adequate yearly progress (AYP) to be met
