The U.S. Senate race in Minnesota got more crowded Tuesday, with 18 candidates vying for a spot on the November ballot. Comedian and writer Al Franken faces six others for the Democratic candidacy, Incumbent Norm Coleman faces one opponent for the GOP nomination.
